Deactivate Slider – Mobile App Theme

    I was playing around with different themes until I settled on my own. The issue I’m having is that I had set up the built-in slider initially and after switching to my theme, needed to deactivate the one in WordApp, except I can’t.

    When I click on “off” and save it turns back on. If I delete all the URLs for the images I had uploaded and turn it off, then save, it all comes back on resulting in a 404 page.

    However, when I click on the homepage in the preview to the right, the theme loads and looks great. Can you please help me get this turned off?

    One last thing, I thought that making changes to my (mobile) theme only affected the mobile version. Apparently not. It changed everything on my main site. End of the world? No. Frustrating? you betcha.

    Hi there,

    It all depends on what theme you are using.

    If you are using a WordApp theme some of them have a required slider so it can’t be deactivated.

    If you are using a non-WordApp theme and using the customizer be sure to click Save & not Save & Publish or this will change the main site.

    I put several videos on youtube to help people understand the customizer.
