Deactivate for admins only?

you can do it with the PRO version. Read “DISABLE PLUGINS IN THE BACKEND EVERYWHERE (PRO)” at https://freesoul-deactivate-plugins.com/how-deactivate-plugiins-on-specific-pages/backend/

But you can also find a workaround with the free version. You can go to Backend => Backend URLs, and add row with a pattern like *testing-backend=maybe-a-password-here*. If you disable some plugins for that row, when you add &testing-backend=maybe-a-password-here to the backend URL, FDP will disable the plugins that you set in that custom backend URL.
For example: https://yoursite.com/wp-admin/edit.php?page=xxxx&testing-backend=maybe-a-password-here

With the PRO version you can disable plugins by custom conditions related to the logged users, as you can read here: https://freesoul-deactivate-plugins.com/how-deactivate-plugiins-on-specific-pages/users/

Already with the free version you have the lens icon to check the preview of the page with some plugins disabled. You have it both for the frontend and backend (in Backend => Singles). I mean icon n. 5 of the table at https://freesoul-deactivate-plugins.com/how-deactivate-plugiins-on-specific-pages/action-buttons/
