• Looking at my DB, I see stuff like

    _original_import_url
    _original_parent_id

They don’t look important. Can I delete them to trim down my DB? Is there a tool to do this?

  • I would ask for much more info, for example, what table they are in and if you can decipher what added them…and still strongly caution such db edits…btw, why do you ask? Perceived site performance, note from host?

DB is getting large, and I just have a plain old blog with pics in a gallery. Seems a lot of that crap is from multiple imports well due to many WP.com incidents I had with data issues, and yes I also wonder if host performance is affected.

This plan blog with posts/pics has used 100% of my shared CPU several times already, and it’s unbelievable to me how this could happen, so any small help is wanted.

    From _postmeta
    _wp_old_slug
    _original_parent_id
    _original_import_url
    original_post_id
    _original_import_author

    From _commentmeta
    jabber_published

These take up a lot of space from what I gather.
