Dazzling Slider Configuration Issue

Hi-
I am getting that “Slider is not properly configured” error message, and I have gone through the forum already but I can’t seem to find an answer. Any help would be awesome.
I am trying to create a slider that will only sit on the homepage, and will slide between three images.
1. I created a category
2. I created three different posts, and gave them each a featured image that I want to go on the slider, and gave them all the same category (the one I created in step 1)
3. When I go to Appearance>Customize>Dazzling Options>Slider Options, I selected “Check if you want to enable slider”, and then selected the category I created in the dropdown menu, and typed “3” as the number of slide items, but it still says that my Slider is not configured properly.
This is where I get stuck. I think I’ve followed what the other forums are saying but I am little lost now as to why it’s not working. Let me know if I can provide any more information to help understand where I went wrong. I’m viewing it in safari and I’m on a mac OS.
