Hi @paulrazey, thanks for reaching out to us. We appreciate the kind words here.
Out of the box, the default behavior should be ordered by date schedule. I’m curious, could you provide me the versions of the following:
1. WordPress
2. The Events Calendar
3. PHP
Moreover, I could not see the date post either in the archive or single page here → https://peacproductions.com/event/steve-ben-somers/.
Looking forward to helping you with this one.
Best,
Abz
Hi Abz,
Thanks for getting back to me.
The post date does not seem to show on the single post, when I add a new event it is orderd by post date, I need to order the events by date order.
Wordpress 6.00
PHP: 7.2.34
Events Calendar: Version 5.16.1.1
Warmest regards
Paul
Hi @paulrazey, no worries. We are here to help.
Appreciate you providing me with more details here. It seems like there’s a conflict, I’m curious if you’d still have the same archive page with different themes. It seems like the view for the default archive is overridden by another template.
Could you try deactivating all other plugins except for our plugins to see if that makes a difference and make sure that the plugins are up-to-date?
Moreover, could you switch to the default theme? Please read the Testing for Conflicts article before doing anything. We’d recommend conducting these tests on a Staging Server.
Let me know how it goes, Paul. Looking forward to helping you further.
Best,
Abz
HI Abz,
Thanks for the update and advice.
I am using a free version of popular FX, there is an ‘archive’ setting which cannot be changed unless I pay for the pro version, not viable at the moment but at least I have worked out what the issue is.
Appreciate your time and help.
Paul
