Date icon – link

Hi,
I checked this plugin and I see it very nice and handy and for use. But I have one issue – question:
As you can see on link I use icon for date of event. My question, or rather a piece of advice in advance.

Is it possible to add a link to the date icon? This would eliminate the need for a title – it would just be an icon with a link to the event details.
Is it possible to include it in a short-term update?
