Hey @slejpnir,
Sorry for the delay. Currently, the date format is controlled by the ‘language files’ (included in the plugin), for all dates in the plugin. There have been some talks internally about changing the ‘front facing’ dates (non-wp-admin) to use the WordPress global date setting you mentioned. We are investigating the ramifications this may have, and will likely be adding this as a feature in an upcoming version. In the mean time, the only way to change that date format is to either change your site language (WordPress global setting) or edit your currently used language file to have the format you need. Keep in mind that the latter will be blown out when you update, so keep a copy of your changes if you go this route.
As far as coupons, yes, you can use all WooCommerce coupons on tickets. If you are getting a ‘no such coupon’ error, this typically can be only a few things, unrelated to our software:
1) the coupon is somehow not published
2) the coupon is not for use on any product in the cart
3) you do not have access to use the coupon
In addition, we do have a Coupons & Passes Extension which provides additional, ticket specific functionality. With this extension, you can limit the coupon ussage to a specific event or to a specific number of usages within an event or event series, along with a few other types of control. If you are looking for more granular control over coupons with relation to events, you should check this one out. Be sure to checkout the video tutorials page and specifically watch the ‘Coupons’ and ‘Season Passes’ tutorials for information on the Coupon & Passes Extension.
Hope this helps,
Loushou
