• Hi, it looks like there was a date format change on Sept 2nd, is there a way to make this an option to revert to the original style of yyyy-mm-dd instead of dd-mm-yyyy? Either in the tag itself or just a general plugin setting? I prefer the old format. It doesn’t show up as a date anymore in Google Forms (no dropdown to change the date in the field) and we either have to manually change it to yyyy-mm-dd or use code to change it. I also know about the ‘ problem, it is not due to that (happens even after manually deleting the ‘). I understand there might be a fix coming soon from what I read in another thread.

  • Hi @jtowersb ,

    Thank you for your patience.

    We have released the fix in version 5.2.9. Please update the plugin to the latest version first.

    To use the original yyyy-mm-dd date format, please add the following code to the functions.php file of your currently active theme:

    add_filter( 'gscf7_pro_date_cell_format', function ( $pattern, $use_wp_format ) {
    	if ( ! $use_wp_format ) {
    		return 'yyyy-mm-dd';
    	}

    	return $pattern;
    }, 10, 2 );

    After adding the code, please submit your Contact Form 7 form again and check the date in Google Sheets. It should now display in the yyyy-mm-dd format.

    Also, the issue where an unwanted apostrophe (') appeared before the date has been fixed in version 5.2.9.

    Please update to 5.2.9, add the above code, and test it. Let me know if you still experience any issues.

    Thanks & Regards,
    Shreya Patel
