Hello,
You can change the date format for English directly from TranslatePress Settings → Miscellaneous Options → Date Format, where you can add your preferred format.
You can look for the day-of-the-week strings in the strings list in the Translation Editor if you can’t select them directly on the page, or search for them in the String Translation Interface → Gettext and Regular tabs using the search option on the right side to look up their English versions. From there, you can identify them and modify the translations as you’d like.
Let me know how this goes.
Kind regards,
Anca
Hello Anca,
Thanks for quick reply.
Still no luck with all the variations I’ve tried. Maybe I could share some screenshots with you somehow?
What I’ve tried:
1. In General Settings in Worpress I’ve set date format to: 2026-07-14Y-m-d and added the same Y-m-d format in Miscellaneous Options in TranslatePress Date Format field.
This one still shows the added date in the cart as:
!31An, 14 Lie 2026 00:00:00 +0000Z0031#31An, 14 Lie 2026 00:00:00 +0000Z-12UTC3131UTC202631 14am31am-31An, 14 Lie 2026 00:00:00 +0000Z12UTC3131UTC2026312026An, 14 Lie 2026 00:00:00 +00000012007amAntradienis=11504#!31An, 14 Lie 2026 00:00:00 +0000ZUTC7#2026-07-14#!31An, 14 Lie 2026 00:00:00 +0000Z0031#/31An, 14 Lie 2026 00:00:00 +0000Z-12UTC3131UTC202631#!31An, 14 Lie 2026 00:00:00 +0000ZUTC7
While in LT version of website, the date is added as expected: 2026-07-14
2. Tried different variations in General Setttings, matching them with Date Format field section in TranslatePress, still no luck. Please clarify if the date format in both paths must be identical?
3. Seems like the “Date:” is not being translated when it’s added to the cart, because these fields in the cart become visible as “Data:” (as they would be in LT version). Even though I’ve translated them in Gettext string translation as you suggested.
