Date Field does not work with Safari

I’m finding that the Date Field is very particular; it keeps saying that the formatting is wrong (which is mm/dd/yyyy).

I’ve been using it just fine for a week, but lately it seems to say that dates are invalid…no matter what we write mmddyyyy, mm/dd/yyyy, etc.

Please help!
