Database Update Required

Hello, I have updated to WP version 4.2.2. I am running this on a windows server and a MS Sql db from my hosting site (Arvixe).

I performed the update in wp-admin and now when I try to access wp-admin I get a screen that states “Database Update Required”. I click on “Update WordPress Database” and it goes to a new screen and stops there.

Since I have done this update, I cannot get into wp-admin at all.

What do I do? Please bear in mind that I am very very new to WordPress and can perform detailed instructions to fix this but I am not a whiz bang at this.
