Did deinstalling WPO fix the issue, if it it did not then the issue is not likely to be WPO. Do you have a copy of your wp-config (you can try restoring this using the AIO plugin if you do)
In all honestly, this does not sound like it’s related to WPO. Having said this I am more than happy to try and assist if you think this would be helpful.
Thx Vupdraft for your quick response!
Its a midwife Website for pregnant women, ten years online. Error appeared directly after activating. I even couldn’t open the help manual cause link doesn’t work. wp-config.php seems o.k.
Database is 47 MB, 133 Tables InnoDB latin1_german1_ci. Big size comes from many revisions, course data usw.
wp-optimize folder is 10,4 MB with 1121 Files and 233 Folders. It seemed as if wp-optimize was hanging trying to load db tables but couldn’t. In wp-optimize I tried to delete settings (if there any) under settings but doesn’t work so I deleted whole wp-otimize folder.
I also called our provider to have a look at the Database.
This website has never been offline that long and the poor midwifes have to check all over phone now.
So if there is anything else I can try please let me know.
Best Wishes
Michael
Can you ask your hosts for you php error logs, it sounds like you might be timing out, the php error log might confirm this (if this is the case it might be that we just need to adjust a setting)
