• Hi all,

I am suffering with great problems reagarding my website. Yesterday afternoon I tried to log in on my admin dashboard and I got a error. It says there is a proxy error 502. When I deactivated all off plugins yesterday I got logged in as admin. But everything was extremely slow, so I did not get plugins activated, because they ran out of time.
Yesterday evening suddenly the admin went faster and I succeeded in installing and updating plugins, wordpress and theme. Overnight the website was stable.
In the morning everything was oke, but when I tried to login als admin, I got immediately the same Proxy error.
In the logs of my hosting partner I read: FastCGI: “/home/strato/http/fastcgi/rid/11/15/54001115/htdocs/WordPress_01/index.php” aborted: no response after 363 sec (idle timeout 360 sec)

And now after many times trying everythng, changing PHP 7.4 to 8, deactivate all plugins and themes…. nothing. But just now I deactivated the option called ‘PHP boost’ and I do come in the admin interface.
Strato (hosting) says about this option:
‘PHP Boost activates a code cache memory. This ensures that PHP scripts run up to 100% faster. When PHP Boost is active, PHP runs in FastCGI mode.’

Does anyone knows what this issue is?

PHP Boost is a feature of your hoster Strato. I would recommend you to contact their support for clarification.

Hi, I noticed I did not respond to your comment… The solution was to move our website to another hosting partner. Now everything is really fast en is working perfectly. Thanks.
