Database piled up by enabling woocommerce plugin

    Hi, I am running woocommerce 2.6.14 on my website. Now when I upgrade wordpress from 4.5.6 to 4.7.2 then it piled up my database connections and finally crash the database. So many database connections start creating or may be web server start sending requests. If I deactivate woocommerce plugin then database comes to normal stage. So it means woocommerce plugin has compatibility issue when I upgrade to new wordpress version.

    Do you know what can cause this problem? I checked with wordpress support and they suggested to check with woocommerce plugin support as it’s related to woo.
