Database Error_ Page Blank

    Hi-

    I have read and read about hte database errors. I have gone through the config file and created new user to be sure everything is right and as far as I can tell it is.

    BUT, I still either get a totally blank page or a page with error connecting to database.

    I just migrated my hosting account. I have five sites that are not showing up and 7 that are fine. I can’t figure it out.

    I updated my wordpress installation. I deleted all my plugins.

    When I login into php admin and look at the database and the user — the new user I set up is not there. When I check other sites that are live — the password via php admin is different from the config file and it works. So I am not sure I am really seeing the right thing in php admin.

    I am really hoping to get sites up instead of total rebuild.

    Which version of the WP are you running?

    First of all the passwords are encrypted and saved to the database. I guess it is MD5.

    Check your .htaccess file

    I iupdated the one site to 3.2.1. I’m not sure what MD5 means. Or how to check the htaccess file. But will research.
