    Hi,

    I’ve been asked to come on board for a project where they are using FluentCRM and -forms. They’re both the pro versions of the software, but I don’t have the login details for the official support yet, otherwise I would have opened a support ticket.

    There’s a lot of conditional fields. in the form. So, we will have a Province dropdown (but starting with only 1) -> District -> Training Dates.

    So the first thing I want to do is to capture the historical data. If I put a Training Date in a field (i.e Event 1), capture the info, and then delete that event, and put in a new Event 2, will that Event 1 data be kept?

    Hello there,

    Thanks for reaching out.

    Following your query, existing submissions retain the value that was selected when they were submitted.

    For example, if a visitor submits Event 1, and you later update the available options to Event 3 and Event 4, the previous entry will continue to show Event 1, while new submissions will store the newly selected option.

    Therefore, you can update the Training Date options for future events without changing the values already stored in previous Fluent Forms entries.

    However, before deploying, you can check it by yourself by submitting some dummy data.
