Julio,
We need to be clear: Kliken does not steal data. That accusation is not only false—it’s harmful and misrepresents how Kliken works. What Kliken Actually Does
Kliken uses the Meta Pixel to help merchants measure the performance of their Facebook and Instagram ads—tracking conversions like purchases or signups. This is standard, industry-accepted practice, used by millions of advertisers globally.
Importantly:
- The Meta Pixel is only activated when a merchant installs and enables our WooCommerce plugin.
- All tracking is permission-based, aligned with GDPR and CCPA standards.
- No customer data is sold, harvested, or used outside of Meta’s own pixel framework.
This is not hidden, and it’s not scraping. The tracking only occurs because the merchant chooses to run Facebook ads with Kliken. That’s it.
Why We Use a Plugin:
We deliberately chose a plugin-based setup to give merchants:
- Full transparency and control over tracking,
- Clear opt-in workflows,
- And easy access to performance reporting—all within WooCommerce.
This method is designed to be compliant, ethical, and merchant-first. The Real Harm Here
Spreading claims of “data theft” without technical evidence is reckless. It confuses merchants, undermines real solutions designed to help small businesses grow, and hurts the credibility of the entire ecosystem.
Kliken is here to help small businesses succeed with affordable, high-impact tools. We take privacy, security, and transparency seriously—and always will.
If you or anyone else wants to understand how it works in detail, reach us at privacy@kliken.com. We’re more than happy to walk through it.

Julio, appreciate the follow-up—though there are some key misunderstandings here that we’d like to clarify.
1. Kliken does not “capture” conversion data between you and Meta
We use Meta’s Conversions API (CAPI) to pass conversion events directly from the merchant’s store to Meta. This is a standard, privacy-compliant method recommended by Meta to improve ad performance and reporting.
This process is:
- Fully transparent,
- Controlled by the merchant,
- And aligned with global privacy regulations like GDPR and CCPA.
2. Our pricing is transparent
Yes, Kliken charges a 15% ad management fee, and it’s always:
- Clearly disclosed at checkout before payment,
- Documented in our help center and onboarding flow,
- And in line with our role as a fully-managed ad platform.
There’s no hidden fee structure—we believe clarity builds trust. 3. Our platform is designed to simplify Meta Ads for SMBs
Kliken acts as an automated advertising platform—like a virtual ads team. We help merchants:
- Set up and manage Meta Ads accounts,
- Launch optimized campaigns with minimal effort,
- Track performance through their WooCommerce dashboard.
That said, it sounds like you may not have used the platform directly. If that’s the case, we totally understand the questions—but some of the concerns you’ve raised don’t reflect how Kliken actually works in practice.
We’re committed to privacy, transparency, and helping merchants grow. If anyone would like a detailed walkthrough of how data is handled, or how billing works, we’re happy to provide it.
You can always reach us at privacy@kliken.com.
