Data attributes removed from markup

Hi all,

Please can someone enlighten me ?!

Why are HTML data attributes (created in Calendar editor) stripped when output?

Calendar editor contains code:
<div class=”showhide” data-title=”more”>[description]</div>

FYI, I use this technique to show/hide extended information which animates the div container. I guess I could recode it and store the title in the class name but I’d like to know why it’s happening. I’ve googled a lot about tinymce but normal posts and pages have no issue with data attribute, so… as I say – please enlighten me!
