Dashboard/Dashboard Links Missing – Very Time Sensitive

    I have not been into my Dashboard for months. Went into my wp-admin page today to access some info and there are no links under Dashboard. The only links available on that page are “Profile/Your Profile.” Can someone please tell me how I can restore and access my Dashboard? BTW, my site is still up, but is scheduled to go dark very soon. Thanks so much for your prompt feedback!!

    Do you still have FTP access to the site?

    There’s been no response from jordanzim so I don’t know if he has solved the problem on his own or not.

    For the benefit of others who may across this thread:

    1. Log in to your site via FTP
    2. Add the following to the active theme’s functions.php file ..

    $user = new WP_User('','login_name');
$user->set_role('administrator');

    .. where login_name is the actual login name used to enter the site.

    3. Log in and make whatever adjustments you need to.
    4. Delete the code you added in Step#2
