    I have 3 wordpress websites
    1 just started (no plugins)
    1 half done
    1 finished.

They all have been working perfectly fine until 1 hour ago.

They are at different hosting providers so I guess that is not the problem
Only one is 3.0.1 the other 2 are 3.0
I can open the dashboard on one but comes up a blank page when I click on the settings/uploads tab. Can click on some other tabs – pages, widgets etc.
The other 2 sites I cannot open the dashboard at all.
    ALL are running Frugal theme
Have also tried opening on a different computer. No luck either.

Is it WordPress which is the problem, the Frugal theme or my internet connection???

  • Try changing the theme back to the default theme that comes with WordPress. This can be done though your phpMyAdmin under the wp_options table, you want to edit the two entries for the theme(Stylesheet & Template). Then see if you can access the dashboard, if you can, then the Frugal theme is not working properly.

    Some thoughts:
    – Are you sure that your Frugal Theme version is compatible with WP 3.0+? Frugal Theme version 3.5. If not, then you need to upgrade to new version or use another theme.
    – For sites you cannot access, rename Frugal theme folder via FTP/cpanel so install would revert to default theme. For other site, change theme to twentyten.
    – If that doesn’t work, reupload WordPress files and folders

Renaming the theme folder doesn’t always revert the theme back to the default. You may have to set it in the database.

Thanks all for your input, must have been a bug in the system somewhere, the next day it was working fine again.
