Dashboard font changed in Chrome update

    Very strange problem and now WordPress backend is not usable in Chrome anymore 🙁
    Login page and dashboard font changed automatically to very light thin font. Looks like it is Open Sans Condensed Light.
    Webpage itself is all fine , except Chrome zoom, after changing it to 100% in chrome settings, it looks normal size.

    It seems that Chrome updated their browser and changed the font scaling which causing lot zoom problems. This is described here and I believe this affects WordPress if using in Chrome browser:

    I had WP 3.9.2, logging in and updating to 4.0 – NO changes in font
    at log in and whole dashboard. It is impossible to use wordpress now in Chrome 🙁

    Tested in IE and all looks fine as always, no changes, this is why I can relate it to Chrome browser updates.

    I have 64bit windows. If that is anything to do with this.
    All the rest webpages aswell Cpanel etc are no font changes, ONLY wordpress backend 🙁
    Font is now something like Open Sans Condensed Light – VERY hard to work with this.
    Why WordPress backend affected??? Sooooo looking for help?
    Is it possible to change somehow?

    I am having problems since the Chrome update as well. Most of the functions work fine, but I’m no longer able to drag the size of my text box in the post editor, which is kind of a b**ch.

    I was now testing WordPress backend with Opera and Firefox browsers and there is all normal, no font changes.

    SO the wordpress became unusable with chrome after it latest update…
    Not possible to use as the font in whole backend/dashboard is Open Sans Condensed Light and therefore very ahrd to see or read anything after all, if I zoom it manually by zooming my screen, then it became readable but all the rest like dashboard menus will be huge.
    Very bad bad bad.
    Chrome killed the wordpress 🙁

    Ugh… I’m having this issue too. I was wondering if it was tied to the Chrome update. Chrome 37.0.x with WP 4.0

    Well now seem that Opera did automatic update and changed something there so that WordPress dashboard got that annoying Open Sans Condensed Light font too 🙁 🙁 🙁
    Now there is not any browser left to use WordPress backend with normal font.
    This Open sand condensed and light is almost impossible to read and killing eyes.
    And NO, it is not helping if zooming browser, font stay condensed and light 🙁

    Yes it is only in WordPress ( and some other rare places like some forums etc.
    It is such a problem and no solution?

    WHY it must be unreadable font in WordPress back end and why it can not be any of common fonts what was before?

    Can not update my websites because it is SO HARD TO read the screen 🙁

    Update: AND it does NOT help even if I have all fonts Arial in Opera browser settings.
    They are, except for WordPress ??? !!!!

    Is it planned any help or changes back in next WordPress update, please?
    Or should I start remove away to Drupal or Joomla 🙁

    WELL as it is not any other way in this but to delete whole Open Sans Condensed Light font from Windows system, I did it.
    Now WordPress is back normal again, but can not use Open Sans in design banners etc. anymore as can not have it installed in my computer.
    Or then just installing and reinstalling this font every time before using WordPress or design program.
    Very strange problem.
    But rather did this than risking with changing core files in WordPress.
