Dark Mode plugin, specifically for GeneratePress

I’m a fan of GeneratePress, and have built a few busy sites on it.

I wanted to provide Dark Mode functionality, and so I built this: https://gpdarkmode.com/

I’m using it on https://www.thegatewaypundit.com (a site that gets millions of daily pageviews), and elsewhere.

I’ve coded it to include the following:

1. basic dark mode styles
2. dark mode styles based on global colors defined in the customizer
3. dark mode styles for commonly used services (ads, forms, etc.)
4. dark mode styles generated by AI
5. dark mode styles that are manually added

I found that this plugin is able to accommodate any GeneratePress-based site’s idiosyncrasies by systematically working through these different tools to generate dark mode styles. The AI-assisted styling is especially helpful, and then the manual styles are for when you just need to fix something quick.

I continue to maintain the plugin, tweaking functionality as needs arise. I hope this is helpful for other fans of GeneratePress!
