Dammitall: 2.8.4 upgrade warning

    Just upgraded wordpress to 2.8.4 and it totally wiped my template.

    Dozens of hours of work down the toilet.

    That’s what you get for being too trusting I guess.

    If your theme was over-written, that can only be because you modified the default theme directly instead of making a copy and then modifying the copy. There’s a reason it’s called the default theme…

    If you theme wasn’t over-written but no longer works correctly, it may be using old code that is no longer supported. Check to see if it’s been updated.

    You’re kidding, right?

    I have never seen WP upgrades overwrite anything in the wp-content directory.

    There’s a reason it’s called wp-content …
