CVV checker is not working

    Hi,

    CVV checker is not working.

    Credit Card fields can only verify if credit card number is valid.

    However, I can enter invalid CVV and proceed with the payment.

    Please kindly check if settings are incorrect?

    CVV checker/validation should be working.

    Wrong CVV should stop the payment process with correct warning.

    Hi @jendqt,

    When you have sandbox mode enabled then there is no concept of a valid cvv, it can be any cvv because it’s sandbox mode.

    When production is enabled, then the cvv validation is run for the credit card.

    You should also login to your Braintree control panel and verify how you have setup your CVV validations. The Braintree plugin doesn’t perform the validation, Braintree does, so if Braintree responds with a success indicator then the plugin completes the order. It’s up to Braintree to determine what should fail and what should not, not the plugin.
