Can anyone refer me to a WordPress plugin that can allow me to customize a WordPress block theme without using the blocks editor or Gutenberg? Like classic widgets and editors do for those features? WordPress is complex with Gutenberg, but thank God for plugins by coders who can make certain things simpler. So, if anyone knows a way to get a plugin or a tool that I can use to change settings on themes without extensive guidance or knowledge to do so? I would really apply that. I’ve heard customer, but I don’t think from demos and a few testers tat that can do a good job. Something simple, please?

WordPress already provides all the tools you need to customize a block theme. If you don’t want to use the Site Editor, you can also create your own theme and use theme.json to define how things should look and to set up templates. This plugin can help you create such a theme to start with: https://wordpress.org/plugins/create-block-theme/

However, the simple, no-coding approach you’re looking for would actually be the Site Editor. You can find instructions for it here, for example: https://learn.wordpress.org/lesson/intro-to-the-site-editor/

Hi @vectorspiral, the Create Block Theme plugin is a great tool for all sorts of customizations.

This plugin allows you to:
- Create a blank theme
- Create a new theme based on the currently active theme
- Create a child theme of the active parent theme
- Create a new style variation
- Export a theme
- Save user changed templates and styles to the active theme
- Expand the typography controls in the block inspector while authoring a theme (opt-in, under Editor preferences)
I’ve used it for creating child themes and exporting a custom theme so I can use it for another project.
