I would like to have stylish borders around my posts and sidebar widgets, how do I do this?

You will probably need to start customising your theme’s CSS – possibly via a child theme or a custom CSS plugin. What theme are you using? Where did you download it from?

Lifestyle Pro from Studiopress. RFE downloaded and moved my blog over for me.

I would like them to look like these, including the little swirls at the top of each widget…can I find a plugin that may work?

I’m sorry but as you are using a commercial theme, you need to seek support from the theme’s developer/vendor. We do not support commercial products here.
