• Hi,

WP was upgraded to 4.9.7 automatically. After that I notice part of Additional CSS in Customizing was missing. There is a bunch of css that I added in last 10 days was gone, the rest is still there!

How can I locate those missing css? It’s really time-consuming to manually working on css again!

    Thank you.

  • Hey,

Have you tried to reach out your hosting and see if there’s any backup you can restore? I think that this is the only way you can get back the missing CSS from the Appearance → Customize → Additional CSS area.

It’s really unusual way for WP to do such thing when upgrade. I hope they have way to revert that!

Anyway, luckily that I have caching plugin and not select clear all caches when upgrade, so I can check old posts and copy the custom css.
