    Hello,

I’m trying to customize my footer, but I don’t know how to make my footer extend to the sides of my screen. It appears to have side margins. How do I get rid of these in TwentyTen?

    Thanks!

  • Hi – the footer dimensions are constrained by the wrapper. You have to take it out of the wrapper. This may cause some unintended consequences, but it’s worth trying it out. Back sure you backup!

    Hi robahas,

I ended up finding this site, which helped me: http://letusbuzz.com/2010/11/full-width-footer-in-atahualpa/

It worked great. I added a custom picture inside my footer and expands out to the sides.

Now, I’m trying to do the same with my header by applying the same code, but when I try to edit my header.php, my whole site crashes, lol…

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!

I’ve got everything under control now.
