    Thanks and Regards.

I am having the exact same issue. This is a brand new WordPress install. We then installed the BetterDocs plugin and created three categories and 5 sample documents.

The Docs page appears as an “Archives:Docs” page and does not show any of the styles you can choose for BetterDocs in the customizer.

We have tried going to Settings > Permalinks > Save (and made sure it is set to post name)

We do not have Elementor, DIVI, or any other page manager installed. We are using a default WordPress install with the Twenty Twenty-Three theme.

Please help. I have attempted to post a screen shot link as well. See here: https://ibb.co/m8cQkhc

    Hi basicmatrix

I hope you are fine today.

Sorry for your inconvenience. We are concerned about this scenario, and we already made the BetterDocs plugin compatible with full site editing (FSE), then this issue should not be available.
We will release a new version of the BetterDocs plugin in the next week with FSE compatibility.

    Thanks & regards

What can we do to resolve the problem for now? Do we simply need to enable the classic editor? Does it work better if we were to use DIVI? I have a website I want to use your product for. I’m likely going to buy the professional version, but I need to have confidence it will work.

We are using WordPress Version 6.3.2. What changes can we make? Should I temporarily use an older version of WordPress? What version would avoid this FSE issue?

    Hi,

You can use any WordPress theme other than block based theme for temporarily ( I can say, till next week). You can use BetterDocs with latest version of WordPress and with Gutenberg editor also. So no need to use older version of WordPress or classic editor.

Currently FSE issue occurs only on block based theme, like twenty twenty three, which will be solved by next week, so for now you can use Flexia, Astra, Hello Elementor theme. Also, we provide shortcodes, so you can use BetterDocs with Divi Theme. Also, we have custom widgets for Elemenetor. You can explore details from here: https://betterdocs.co/docs/wordpress/

Let me know if you have further queries.

    Thanks

    Amin,

Thank you! We were purposely using the basic theme with the understanding it would cause the LEAST compatibility issues. We installed DIVI and the Better Docs customizer began working perfectly.

When will the update be available and how can we remove the “Better Docs” link from the footer.

    Hi

I hope you are fine today.

Our development process is completed, and testing phase is going on. I think we will release an update in next week. I will let you know.
Regarding the BetterDocs links from single doc, you can disable the option from the settings, please check the screencast, https://d.pr/v/hBEK1n

    Thanks & regards
