Customizer not kicking in

So far I don’t have any php errors and hard reset on all caches but the menu’s I made assigned to the top/mobile and all other settings (logo, font etc) absolutely nothing is updated.

I checked in regular amp settings pages, custom layouts were assigned and I’m pretty baffled about the template itself. Importing and hero Title do nothing.

I want a light weight solution compared to all the big bloat amp plugins out there, possibly you can assist in clarifying what is happening on my test site?
