Customize breakpoints for devices?

I’ve been using Content Control for User Control, but now that I’m trying out the Device Control option to use different blocks on Desktop, Tablet and Mobile I find there are gaps in the screen widths where none of the blocks show. Do I need to add custom CSS to the blocks to set the active widths, or is there a simpler solution? Thanks!
