Im curious more than anything does this allow me some sort of option to already advance download ability “exclusively” to customers that have already purchased from me before I found your wonderful plug-in?

If you can export previous purchases to a CSV, you can import them with this: https://wordpress.org/plugins/easy-digital-downloads-csv-manager/
