Custom purge action when post updated

  • By default, when post is updated WP Super Cache purges the cache on all pages.

Instead of this, for example, if I want to clear just cache of the post page that was edited. Is there any API that can prevent the default behavior and add custom purging action?

Deadly-simple question but I can’t find any answer for it.

    Thank you!

  • I think the default is supposed to be clear only the post that was changed. There is a selection under the advanced tab “Clear all cache files when a post or page is published or updated.” that should make it do what you are describing. I’d check to make sure that is not inadvertently checked for you. I am having a problem, though, that everything clears for me regardless of whether the button is selected. I am wondering if you are having a similar problem to me. I suspect it is a plugin conflict.
