Custom Product Attribute Issues

Just looking for some advice really.

Is there any way to enable the ‘Text Entry’ option on Custom Product Attributes in WooCopmmerce v3.3.3? Or has this method been removed completely from WooCommerce? I know there is the Add New button and pop-up added but this is not ideal for how I have my store set-up so any help, or advice on reverting to the previous ‘Text Entry’ without rolling back would be appreciated.
