Custom Post Type with dynamic list item number

Hi,

my client wants to have a blog about various topics: cooking, fashion, family, beauty etc. He requested to have a cooking part with a template:
intro + list of ingredients + preparation + additional info (like http://comida.uncomo.com/receta/como-hacer-pan-de-molde-32626.html ). List of ingredients should be a list with number and every step can have few lines of text and photo. I’m stuck with this part because once this list will have 5 items and next time 12. My client wants it to be like a form so you have a text box and image loader for every step.
I’ve been looking for plugins that helps with Custom Fields and tried to make my own Custom Post Type I just don’t know how to give a user a possibility to “add new item” to th list.
I will appreciate any ideas.
