For some reason, I’ve been unable to get pagination to work for custom post types.
I modified page-fullwidth template to make a custom template (just changed post type for now).

The page 2 doesn’t work with the permalink structure currently being used http://localhost/sitename/sample-post/ but starts working when I switch to http://localhost/sitename/archives/123

Apparently if I am listing my services on page with slug ‘services’, I can’t rewrite my CPT slug to ‘services’.

I’m marking this ‘not a support question’ and will seek help regarding this in general forum.

Hey,
Yeah custom post type and pages can’t share the same slug if the permalinks are using post-name. It’s a limitation in wordpress.
Since the second page services/page/2/ is using “services” as the slug if there is a custom post type with that slug they conflict.
