Custom post type automatic latest post issues

    I’ve got a newsletter draft which sends weekly. It pulls in 10 posts automatically from the latest default post type and then there is a second section which pulls in 5 posts of the custom type ‘events’. This was working fine until a recent update (of both WordPress and Mailpoet) and now, although the preview shows the event posts (when new posts exist), when it comes to the newsletter sending that week, the events section is then blank and it states latest content as already sent.

    Not sure if this is relevant but the custom post type of events is via the plugin Events Manager (5.5.2)

    Bit of a mystery as to whats causing this issue.

    It’s a confirmed bug on our latest release, we are working on a fix for it to the version 2.6.8, sorry for the inconvenience!
