Custom post type appears blank…

    Just created my first custom post type! Yay! But can’t figure out this problem…boo!

    I created a post type with the Themergency generator. I added a slug at the beginning of the permalink. After visiting the Permalink settings, changing to default, and then back to /%postname%/ for the custom setting, I get a 404 error with either a blank page or it takes me back to the homepage. So confusing!

    I can’t figure this out! Help! Thanks in advance!
