Custom post ID for the URL

    Hello

    Is it possible to use the ID of a custom post type, in the URL whilst maintaining the %postname% permalink for regular blog posts?

    I have a membership site where users can add a custom post type and rather than use the title in the permalink, I would like it to use the ID.

    So for example, a regular post would look like

    mywebsite.com/sample-post

    and a custom post type (animals) could look like

    mywebsite.com/animals/11

    I’ve found a few similar posts but they don’t seem to work 🙁
