Custom Permalink Plugin 404 Error

    I installed the “custom permalink” plugin, and whenever I set a custom permalink, I get a 404 error when going to the page.

    I did a search and the only thing I could find was to change the htaccess file permissions to 777. I did that… but it’s still not working.

    Can anyone please help me?
