The Stats tracking code is hooked into the wp_footer() action (ref), so you’ll need to add that function to your custom page template if you want to track stats.

Hi Jeremy,
Thank you for your reply 🙂
I inserted the call to wp_footer() before the </body> tag and tested if it is called, but the views still do not appear in my stats 🙁
Any ideas?
Regards,
Berto
Could you post a link to one of these pages, so I can have a look?

It seems to work on my end. All my test visits were recorded. You can see them directly here:
https://wordpress.com/my-stats/?view=post&post=14159&blog=25083724&unit=1
You will also notice my tests in the list of search terms used to access your site; I used site:http://ciudadano2cero.com/curso-wordpress-online for my tests.

Hi again Jeremy, thank you so much!
It was a silly mistake of mine, I’m sorry for that 🙁
Since I’m using a page template I was searching the post by its title (which is coded in the templete itself, I’m simply testing it). I forgot that I didn’t use exactly the same title in the WordPress page, therefore I didn’t find the page on the stats.
Thank you again 🙂
See you,
Berto
