custom notification for public subscribers?

    I’m sorry that this is such a basic question, but I’ve read through the supporting documentation and don’t see it…

    Does Better Notifications all for custom notification for public subscribers (no WP account, just email address)?

    Thanks for your message.

    No, unfortunately not. I’ve made this decision previously to prevent abuse of non-WordPress site users and to encourage asking permission prior to sending email notifications out. Having said that, several people have asked for this functionality and I am looking into the possibilities of adding it, but probably as an add-on.
