Custom Login URL
-
Hello,
First of all, great work on Atlant Security. It looks like a very promising plugin.I seem to have found an issue with the Custom Login URL feature. After enabling a custom login slug, the custom login page loads correctly. However, when valid credentials are entered, WordPress redirects back to the login page rather than completing the login process, making it impossible to access the dashboard. Further
- /wp-admin remains accessible and still redirects to the login page.
- The previously saved custom login slug keeps reappearing, even after clearing the field and saving the settings.
- Saving an empty value does not remove the configured login slug.
I’ve tested this on multiple WordPress installations. Some work correctly, while others do not. It may be related to the server environment (Nginx, Apache or LiteSpeed), although I haven’t been able to identify a clear pattern yet.
As a comparison, when I disable the Atlant Security Custom Login URL feature and use the plugin WPS Hide Login on the same installation, the custom login URL works as expected and /wp-admin is no longer accessible.
Is this a known issue, or is there an additional setting required to fully protect /wp-admin?
Thanks in advance.
