If you select “attachment” or “media file” it should work – the plugin looks for both of those urls in the gallery code and replaces them with the custom urls for each image automatically.

I have created a gallery and inserted into a static page. I wanted to go back now and edit individual images so that they would open another page when clicked on. In the editor, I select the image, click on the pen which opens up the edit gallery page. I can go select attachment or media file but the additional fields do not appear so that I can enter the URL of the page I want opened as well as whether I want a new window or not. When I add an image to a gallery, however, those additional fields do show up. Can I not add these fields to an image already in the gallery?
You should be able to add/change the values at any time. Additionally, if you edit the image from the media section, the custom link fields should be at the bottom of the form; the plugin hooks into that form wherever it’s used. Could you possibly take a screenshot of when you’re editing an image gallery and the fields aren’t showing up on the right?
Oh one other question – are you actually clicking on an image? If I edit a gallery, it pops up the gallery edit window, and the “link to” setting is visible on the right, but the custom link fields aren’t visible. Just to confirm that’s not the issue, you have to click on an image in the gallery and select it to see its custom fields on the right.
