    Hi there,

    Thanks for your question.

    Adding custom HTML is currently not supported through the editor or through code, in order to prevent AMP validation issues.

    Is there a particular functionality you’d like to add using custom HTML? Perhaps there is another way to accomplish that.

    Thanks for confirming. I am trying to add google/third party custom ads in my Web Stories.

    That’s good to know, thanks.

    Adding custom ads without using the dedicated integration points will most likely result in validation errors, making your story ineligible to be featured in places like Google Discover.

    We recommend configuring ads using either Google AdSense or Google Ad Manager, the two currently supported providers in the settings section of the plugin. With Google Ad Manager you can upload custom ads as long as they follow the guidelines for Web Stories ads.
