Custom fields Script codes

I would like to know whether it is possible to add a string of code in a custom field, to show ads from my ad server?

Those are all like <script>etcetc </script>

I did some testing and it doesn’t seem to show? Or is there a way?

Because this would really make advertising a lot easier because i would be able to ad relevant ads to the posts.

Any help would be appreciated.
