Custom fields plugin, search by new custom field

    Hi Greg,

    I have a question regarding “custom fields” plugin. I’d like to create a separate page where users can perform “advanced” search, i.e. search by all fields that I’ve added, including custom. The problem is that I can’t create a new “Search” form with a new field where “Search by” criteria should be my new field, say, “subway station”. In other words, in “search by” I can choose only “person”, “email”, “phone”, “price” and “location”, but not my new “subway” field.

    Is it possible?

    Hi,
    all the custom fields you created for [adverts_add] shortcode using Custom Fields extension you should be able to see when configuring search for [adverts_list].

    Can you let me know what Custom Fields extension version are you using? Maybe it’s older than 1.2? If that is the case try upgrading first and see if it helps.

    I’m using v1.2 currently, but still can’t see created fields. Please take a look:

    Maybe I’m doing something wrong?

    Hi there Greg, I’m having this exact same issue. Could you possibly help me out?
    I have the up to date extension that I purchased today but it will not let me see any custom fields I have made in adverts_add form when I’m customizing a search form.

    Hi,
    i just released a Custom Fields 1.2.1, it should have this issue fixed.

    If you have a license key entered for the WPAdverts Custom Fields extension then you can go to wp-admin / Dashboard / Updates and click “Check Again” button it should show you the update.
