Hi @gh0stmichael,
Please be patient 🙂
The custom fields box is a default (i.e. not added by this plugin) section in the editor screen (e.g. post editor). If you can’t see it, click on the “Screen Options” tab in the top right-hand corner. Is it ticked? If not, tick it and it will appear.
I found it difficult to understand the way to use this plug-in. After looking at the Custom Fields in the screenshot, I realised something was missing and then I found this post. Why would you not advise about using the Screen Options setting in the Editor?
In any event ticking the Custom Fields option does not produce the Custom Fields as shown in the screenshot. Am I missing something?
Hi @malae,
I’ve never thought to put this in the instructions before because it’s a part of the Core WordPress, out of my control, and my default it switched on – if it’s missing, then this non-standard behaviour.
However, the next time I update my instructions I will clarify how to check and switch back on the custom fields meta box.
As for your question, can you please raise this as a new ticket please, as this is a new issue?
Thanks.
The instructions have now been updated with details about the Custom Fields box, including a screenshot to demonstrate it further.
