    Hi,

I just upgraded to the last version as you know.
Are looking into all the new featuers, nice work!

But i tried an oldie, custom field in cart/checkout.
When i activate one it sjows last in the page for contactinformation and before “Your contact information” in the plain text emails.

I have childtheme and custom css. Can any of this help me to rearenge the position of the custom iput field?

    Beset regards, Michael.

  • Hi,

Could you please explain one more time. Are you referring to “Custom Checkout Fields”? Do you mean to position that checkout field in emails or on frontend?

    Best regards,
    Tom

    Hi,

Yes. thats correct. Checkout Custom Fields Options.
In both. The frontend and email.

In frontend it appears last in the field.
In the email it appears just before the headline “your kontaktinformation”.

    Here are my settings.
Add All Fields to Admin Emails – Enable
Add All Fields to Customers Emails – Enable
    Custom Fields Number – 1
    Custom Field #1 – enabled
    Type – text
    Required – enabled
    Label – Organisationsnummer (a.k.a VATnr)
    Placeholder – empty
    Section – Billing
    Class – first
    Clear – enabled

    Regards, Michael

    Hi Michael,

    Thanks for the detailed explanation.
Unfortunately at the moment the only way you can change position of a field on frontend, is through Class and Clear options, however that won’t give the results you need. Regarding positioning in emails – at the moment there are no positioning options at all. I will add both features to one of our next updates, however can’t say anything on deadline.

    Best regards,
    Tom

    Hi,

That answer will do for now. Thanks!
This is not critical for me at the moment.

    Best regards,
    Michael
