custom field echoed outside the WordPress installation

    I tried to get the answer on bbpress forums, but nobody there seems to answer regarding this problem I have.

    What I want to do is to have the client edit the front page main text from forum and bbpress does not have the functionality of WordPress so I cannot use custom fields (or can I?).

    I was thinking to create a page in WordPress and create a custom field there and pull it in BBpress.

    Do you think that’s possible?
